Novartis Oncology is conducting a clinical research study to
see if an investigational drug is an effective and safe treatment in people
who have brain metastases from non-small cell lung cancer (cancer of the
lung that has spread to the brain). The study drug is called
patupilone and it belongs to a new class of agents that works by preventing
the growth of cancer cells through suppression of microtubule dynamics.
If you or a family member or friend has been diagnosed with
non-small cell lung cancer that has spread to the brain, and the brain disease
is recurrent after different treatments such as surgery, radiotherapy, and/or
chemotherapy, and would like to see if you are eligible for this clinical trial,
please click on the link below to take a high-level screening questionnaire.
